Our speaker will be Dr. Toni de Marcaida.  Dr.  Marcaida has just joined the Hartford Hospital and University of Connecticut medical Center to start a Movement Disorders Center for Parkinson's Disease and other neurological disorders. She was heavily involved in Parkinson's disease research during the las two years that she had been at the University of Rochester - Strong Memorial Hospital.

She was the principal; investigator and a member of the steering committee on many clinical trial of the Parkinson Study Group, a highly regarded collaboration of movement disorder specialists from all the premiere universities in the U.S. and North America.  She is proud, however, of her involvement with Parkinson's Disease Support Groups i Upstate New York area, and counts many of her patients among her friends.  Although she will miss the Parkinson's groups in New York, she is looking forward to making new friends in her new home of Connecticut.

From Route 9 Southbound Exit 12 - Silver Street exit Left off the exit onto Silver Street. Take first
right onto Eastern Drive. Left at main entrance onto Flood Dr. (greenhouse on right hand side)
Follow Flood Dr. to first stop sign; at stop sign (in front of daycare center) take a right onto
Harvey Drive. Entrance to parking area is right after daycare center on left. Haviland Hall is
directly across from parking lot. 

From Route 9 Northbound Exit 12 - Bow Lane Right at the exit onto Bow Lane. Left onto Harvey
Drive. Parking area is on your right. Haviland Hall is directly across from parking area.
